Work is a part of life. Every life owes it. A beaver works to build its lodge. An eagle works to build its nest. An ant works to build its colony. You can not escape death. We all owe a death. You can cheat death temporarily, but you can not escape it. And, you can not escape work. We all owe work, but like wise, you can cheat work temporarily and when you do someone else pays. Each life requires work to exist. There is no escaping this fact. Food must be grown, gathered or hunted. Shelters must be built. If you are walking and come to an apple tree, pick an apple and eat it, you are benefitting from the work that the tree and the soil and the sun have done. And, you are fortunate, but we are not always this lucky. We can not rely on the chance of finding an apple tree that mother nature has placed on our path. We must provide for ourselves to live and this requires work that we must do and do happily like the beaver and the eagle and the ant. It is the beautiful balance between work and existence. If you choose not to work in this natural order, but still manage to benefit from it you cheat work temporarily, but that debt must be payed and eventually you will face the accumulation of your debt. So work. Work now with joy. Work for the earth. Let it make you strong and healthy. Participate in this beautiful exchange of natural energies with every other living thing on earth.
